Payment Methods
Packing
Cash, certified check, money order, or Visa and Mastercard (credit cards incur a 4% service fee) are as good as gold and considerably less weighty. Sorry, but we no longer accept personal checks.
 We offer complete custom packing and crating services. Charge is per carton, and includes labor, material, and our liability for contents. Call for a free walk-through estimate.
Full-Service Moving Rates (Includes Truck)
Full-service rates include professional movers, tools, equipment, moving pads, and a truck. Minimum bookings: 3 hours plus 1/2 hour additional drive fee. Peak season rates may apply during June, July, and August.

Long Distance

Transportation costs are based on shipment weight, origin and destination zip codes, and time of year/month. Total is calculated via state-of-the-art 400n Tariff software.

We are fully licensed and insured and offer basic liability damage coverage (60 cents/lb) at no additional cost. For an additional fee, we can provide full replacement value coverage -- if we inadvertently damage an item you own, we'll either repair it or buy you a new one. Our rates for full coverage on local moves range from $40 for a 1 bedroom apartment to $170 for a 5 bedroom house.

Dump Run
Dump fee ($38.50/ton waste, $12.50/appliance, ect see http://www.icgov.org/landfill.htm for detailed pricing) is added to the basic charge.

Special Services
  • Bulky Items (over 250 lbs) -- $10 per step up, $5 per step down.
  • Stair Fee (3rd floor and above) -- $20 additional for 3 hours or less.  Call for pricing on larger jobs.
  • Appliance Hookup/Disconnect -- Included in normal hourly rate.
  • Overtime (after 6pm) -- $20/hr additional.
  • Storage and SIT: depends on amount, duration -- call for a quote.
