From the beginning to the end our experience was the best. The coordination between the various teams came together seamlessly. I was thankful for all the communication when we were going through the planning process and this communication continued throughout the packing, loading, transport and the final day of delivery. It was so helpful to have the same team that packed our home also be the same team that transported and delivered our possessions. They knew exactly where to place the furniture and appropriate boxes for each room. This attention to detail is phenomenal and from prior experience with other moving companies, it has never existed in prior moves. Wes and Chance were extremely easy to work with. They were personable, trustworthy and so hard working to get us packed up and on the road. They communicated with us each day with arrival times, daily plan, etc. They were joined by Ray and Angelo when they unloaded and again a great team. They were finished in record time. The final walk through was so nice to double check the location of items and it was spot-on correct!! Adamantine moved us from our multi-level home in Johnston to a ranch house in Ankeny today. Chance, Drew and Dane were great! They worked together like a well-oiled machine. They took a tour of every room that had things to move. On a walk-through at the end I could see they had gotten everything I said and didn't take anything else by mistake. They worked at smoothly setting everything up in the new house. I was impressed by their professionalism and efficiency. Best of all, they took less time than estimated, so our cost was lower. Also, Emily in the office was wonderful from start to finish. She answered questions from me almost every day and was courteous whenever we spoke on the phone. Oh, and in order to give an accurate estimate Emily had sent a video link. That allowed me to videotape every room along with a narrative of what was being moved and how may boxes we'd have. I'd rate them a 10 if that was an option. Definitely happy with the experience!

EDIT: I received a call from someone at AS this afternoon. It was a really good conversation and I came away sure my concerns have been taken seriously. Changing my review to five stars because everyone makes mistakes, but it takes integrity to admit it. This moving company is awesome.This was our third time hiring AS, but our first time doing an interstate move. There was no question about which company we would hire. They were amazing the last two times, so the choice was a no-brainer. Our load crew and unload crew were all professional, polite, and efficient, and nothing was damaged aside from one bookshelf, which AS made it very easy to file a replacement claim for.I’d love to give five stars, but unfortunately I can’t this time—not because of the shelf, but because of what seemed to be communication issues between the operations staff and the crew. My spouse and I had provided a full inventory and noted that we had a large number of books and some heavy art equipment, but the unload crew wasn’t warned of this until the morning of their departure. We had also provided a picture of the narrow street and driveway at the destination, and AS sent a truck that almost completely blocked the road. None of this was the fault of the crew themselves.Despite having weighed our belongings after loading and knowing we were well above the estimate they had made, AS still only sent two employees to unload it all to our third-floor walk up. The two of them were troopers and did an amazing job in the circumstances, but despite their hard work and good attitudes, I have to give four stars because I’m disappointed in AS for valuing their employees’ safety so lightly. This was a 3-4 person job and the two employees who did it should have had more help.

We did discover a small chip and crack on a side table glass top after you left but you had made us aware of the wall damage so no big surprises If the rest of my life goes as smoothly as you helping us move life would be great. Moved from Iowa to Maryland. Excellent experience. The loading crew was wonderful. Covered the floors before actually moving things to the truck. Very polite and friendly. Great job packing TVs and art. All furniture and mattresses were carefully wrapped and protected. Every item was tagged and recorded. The crew arrived at our new home exactly when they said. Excellent job getting everything into the home - not easy because of some narrow staircases. Furniture and boxes placed exactly where specified. Everything was setup perfectly such as reassembling the beds and TVs. No damage to anything. Very patient, efficient, and professional. Did not leave until we did a room by room inspection with them to be certain everything was as it should be.

We were thrilled with our move with Adamantine Spine Moving! We found them through their easy to understand FAQs while googling different moving company terms. We had a trickier move in that were were moving out of two locations in Chicago on specific separate days and into a single family home in Cedar Rapids two weeks later. Caleb's emails made the move planning and quoting so easy to understand that we didn't bother getting other quotes. That said, we think their pricing was fair compared to what we've heard from friends who used the big national companies. The move teams were all professional, asked questions, provided explanations, and were eager to make sure that we were happy with our move. We had airtags in a few boxes and they were exactly where they said they would be while stored at their locations. Nothing was broken or damaged during the moves. We hope to be in this home forever, but if we ever move again, we will be calling Adamantine again.

Adamantine Spine Moving was hired by our piano dealer to deliver a piano we bought. Communication from them was EXCELLENT, they were considerate of how the weather could affect what is basically a huge piece of unfinished wood attached to various metals and other pieces of wood, it was clear that moving pianos was an average day at work for them so everything was very fast and straightforward (BUT they didn't have the carelessness that can come with being too comfortable about doing something often), and just overall I was really impressed with everyone's professionalism. Also they managed to drive an hour and a half to my home plus make another stop on the way and still arrive within two minutes of their estimate, which was definitely some sort of magic.

Mike and the Spine Crew did a fabulous job of moving my antique upright Victorian piano. It was probably one of the toughest piano moves they’ve ever done with two very steep drives and wooded lawns to traverse and they got the job done. This tiger oak beast weighed a ton and they conquered it, handling the move with a positive attitude, sense of humor and utmost professionalism. And yes, it happened during the first winter snow to boot! I highly recommend them and I cannot thank them enough for a challenging job well done!

Prompt and deliberate execution, granted I've never worked with any other moving company, but I'd say the work they do is top notch. Beating out the competition by using their own wheels and muscle means you don't have to lift a finger. They'll pack and unpack, do all the heavy lifting, and cart your stuff where and when you need it, even setting up the appointment is a relatively easy process. Also in depth, the questionnaire for the individual move goes into pretty intricate detail, so nothing really comes as a surprise to see it go as smoothly as it did. Would recommend.

The helped with all our requests. The communication, timeliness, and courtesy were perfect. All household goods arrived in same condition they left. Navigating the interstate transfer of a grand piano - with storage needs between point A and point B as well as working with a 3rd party vendor - may have been extremely complicated. Adamantine spine moving did an amazing job moving my belongings. They were very professional and didn’t mess around and got to work! They disassembled furniture and put back together and made sure the screws were in a bag attached to the piece. They put down plastic protection on the carpet and used like a padding if needing to use a dolly. There was NO damage done to the house. When moving the boxes into the new house they made sure to ask were they would go to so I wouldn’t have to move them after they left. I would definitely recommend them!

I'd used Adamantine Spine Moving when moving from Iowa City to Cedar Rapids in 2015 and was very pleased to find that they also performed interstate services, so selected them for my most recent move from CR to the Denver area. This time required more assistance related to packing. From Emily's assistance on the front-end planning, quotes, etc., to Griff and Rhett present for packing/loading at the origin and unloading at the destination, everything proceeded smoothly. Any pre-move questions were quickly answered, and I received pertinent updates related to arrival, etc. I was a little concerned with this move because I was moving into a condominium with an HOA that laid out VERY specific rules to follow for movers, but -- as expected -- they did a beautiful job. The condo resident assisting with the doors, etc., was very impressed. Also, an old chair suffered a break in the move (I was not surprised as it was quite old and "rickety" -- I'd purchased it years ago for about $5 from a resale store -- and it had no sentimental value: i.e., not worth claiming as damage) -- Rhett repaired the break after unloading and did a much better job than I ever could have -- it's back in use just as before. Rhett and Chris did a great job packing everything they were responsible for (I was not so great at what I performed). I was able to track down items I needed to unpack sooner than later from their boxes because they labeled what was inside (something I got tired of doing when I was packing: most of my boxes had "misc" as the details). They also used packing paper in unique ways that provided as much protection as environmentally unfriendly bubble wrap. The only bubble wrap they used was some that I had purchased and requested that they just finish the roll. I've moved with professional movers several times over the years and this was by far my best experience. It meant a lot to have Rhett and Griff at both the origin and destination locations. On top of that, they had a great attitude. I'll add that while Spine Moving even suggested that I obtain quotes from other companies, I did not because I knew I could trust them 100% -- post-COVID I feel like many service industries just don't fulfill their promises, and I wanted this move to be as NONstressful as possible, and it was!

Moving solo can be difficult, but they did a great job moving my gear from one place to the other. Very responsive, helpful, and courteous. They moved my small gun safe with ease too. Two of my pieces shifted in transport and they were able to fix a night stand. The other small dresser was found broken after removing my moving blankets/wraps. However after a briefing phone call everything was squared away above and beyond. If you are looking to move In the area choose Adamantine Spine Moving.

Eric (one of the owners of the company) made the move possible within our budget. He took care of things very professionally and made sure the customer is always happy with their company. The crew who moved my stuff was also very professional, polite, and responsive. It was a hassle free move. Their truck had some issue and hence they couldn't deliver the next day so we had to stay an extra night in the hotel. But Eric compensated for that by refunding us the extra hotel night stay.

Crew of 4 showed up to move my stuff out of a storage facility to my house. All we're very professional and friendly. Worked efficiently and took care of all my stuff. I hung out and just made sure I wasn't needed. The entire time they presented themselves with absolute professionalism. My stuff was well packed and taken care of. They may not be the cheapest movers but I'm glad I paid a little extra for the company and men that showed up. Could not been more pleased with the outcome. If anything changes on day 2 of the move I will update. If nothing else gets written then day 2 went just as well as the first day. Top movers and company. Highly recommended.

Jeff and Caleb helped us move a piano today from our old house to our new house. They did such an amazing job! I had forgotten about shoveling at our old house since we had already moved into the new house. I realized at the last minute and rushed over there with a shovel. When I got there Jeff and Caleb were already there and assured me not to worry that they could help with shoveling no problem! I was instantly not stressed and felt like I was in good hands. The move went very smoothly. They had to move the piano down two flights of stairs at our new house and they were so careful, prepared and skillful in moving the piano safely. Adamantine exceeded my expectations during a recent move. I have a couple of heavy, rare crystals that I needed to move from one state to another, along with some furniture. One crystal weighed as much as a piano and needed a special mover. Everything was well packed at the other end and was in perfect condition when it arrived at my new home. Despite having to negotiate many steps up to the front door and up to the main living level, the young men successfully brought in the crystals and the heavy furniture without a problem. There was no damage to the walls or carpet, as everything was padded and protected along the way. I recommend Adamantine Spine Movers wholeheartedly.

Finally, a moving company with integrity and genuine concern about quality. I used Adamantine Spine Moving twice in the last 8 months - once to move from western Iowa to eastern Iowa, and then again recently to move back to western Iowa. Both times I thought their service was fantastic! The movers were polite, friendly, professional, personable, and hard-working. The people I worked with pre-move both times were very helpful and patient with me (and all my questions). The cost was very reasonable - no minimum charge as some companies have, which was very helpful because I did not have a ton of stuff. Nothing was damaged either time, and they truly made moving a piano look very easy (which I know it's not!) I can't say enough positive remarks about these guys, so I will just say that I highly recommend them to anyone looking for a moving company! Everything they did for me was "spot on!"

From the beginning to the end our experience was the best. The coordination between the various teams came together seamlessly. I was thankful for all the communication when we were going through the planning process and this communication continued throughout the packing, loading, transport and the final day of delivery. It was so helpful to have the same team that packed our home also be the same team that transported and delivered our possessions. Adamantine moved us from our multi-level home in Johnston to a ranch house in Ankeny today. Chance, Drew and Dane were great! They worked together like a well-oiled machine. They took a tour of every room that had things to move. On a walk-through at the end I could see they had gotten everything I said and didn't take anything else by mistake. They worked at smoothly setting everything up in the new house. I was impressed by their professionalism and efficiency. Best of all, they took less time than estimated, so our cost was lower. Also, Emily in the office was wonderful from start to finish. She answered questions from me almost every day and was courteous whenever we spoke on the phone. Oh, and in order to give an accurate estimate Emily had sent a video link. That allowed me to videotape every room along with a narrative of what was being moved and how may boxes we'd have. I'd rate them a 10 if that was an option. Definitely happy with the experience!

I was so worried with all the moving process because this was my first time of interstate moving, and I almost got scammed from a moving broker just before contacting to Adamantine Spine Moving. I found this place in the movers DB in dot.gov, which is showing that this company is the biggest moving company in lowa (by fleet size) with all licenses for household/interstate moving. From the onset, the staff member who served as my moving consultant provided excellent communication and was very responsive to questions which arose along the way. The crew was great. The pick up crew arrived right on time and had a large house loaded in just a few hours; for the unloading it was a smaller crew (so it took a little longer) but they gave regular updates on their arrival time and once here were efficient, friendly, and great to work with. When relocating for work, we knew this move we would not being doing alone. Our research did not leave us astray when it came to Adamantine Spine Moving out of Urbandale, IA. The process was quick, easy, straight forward, and essentially headache free. We had 10/10 experiences from start to finish, with each person down the line. We specifically would like to mention Taylor Roth, who was able to arrange our move during one of their busiest months, let alone busiest days of that week. He also sent multiple tips, tricks, and resources in regards to packing, decluttering, prep for the movers, and etc. He helped bridge the gap with communication between a few different people and made sure to follow up throughout the entire process, including after. The moving crew themself was exceptional. We had 2 different crews, one for each day. Josh, Charlie, Nick, and Ryder from the Urbandale team were SO PROFESSIONAL, kind, respectful of our property and our 3 pets, and our time. They took such precision and care that I trusted them without a doubt, and I have some serious trust issues. Willie, Tyler, Nick, and Ryder from day 2 which included some help from the Cedar Rapids team were just the same when it came to unloading, putting together, and hauling away. We had our carpets shampooed the evening before, so they took extra note to remove or cover shoes and cover our floors when bringing items in. Again, honestly the best experience. Nothing broke, nothing was damaged, nothing was missing, and the crew was just so kind. I will be using Adamantine for our next move without a single doubt. After a friend's definitive suggestion, we contacted Adamantine Spine (ASM) about moving our stuff from another state to Iowa. Brooke responded quickly and offered clear, helpful, and professional responses to all my questions -- all delivered with a kind touch. She also scheduled and provided a quote for the whole move, which she based on a virtual review of our house. (Her questions and comments were VERY helpful through this review process. Furthermore, her quote ended up being remarkably accurate in terms of quantities of boxes needed, total weight, and final cost.) At each step of the way, Brooke and others sent guidance documents, forms, and quick check-in messages that were timed to be just as I would need them. This greatly assisted us as we prepared for moving day. When the load-out team arrived, they first walked through the house with me and finalized their strategy. Then within 5 hours, 2 strategic and incredibly strong endurance athletes managed to load all our possessions from a 2400 sq ft house into the ASM semi-trailer truck. (This was astonishing to watch!) I must add that although they worked quickly, they took great care at every step of the way.) When the load-out team arrived at our new IA residence, a different team of strong and fast athletes beautifully handled every item, too. Throughout the process, every moving team and staff member was kind, thorough, thoughtful, and again, just amazing at handling their responsibilities. They also seem to enjoy working with each other very much. Bottom line: I could not possibly be happier with ASM's service. Look for the bright Red truck! We received several advance text messages coordinating their services and their arrival. Working with Emily was a snap; she was very accommodating and accurate. On the day of the move, Crew members Wes, Tyler, and Brenden arrived promptly at the desired time, as they indicated they would (does anybody really do this anymore?) and were extremely friendly and courteous. I witnessed them acknowledge nearby neighbors as they went about their business. They first did a quick walk-through to acknowledge what needed to go where in our 2-stop move (items to be disbursed in two different locations in two local cities), and then they set upon their respective tasks, moving and wrapping very carefully and with effortless efficiency. They packed glass and mirrors in the box seen in the photo. They had several steps to move up and down and intricately tight corners and doorways to maneuver, and they did so slowly and carefully. There was no dawdling or time wasted either; even jogging back from the moving truck to the house. I could tell they were well-trained and disciplined in not only hard work, but in providing quality, professional customer service.
