Adamantine Spine Moving a.k.a. ‘The Spine’ is a small, independent, locally-owned moving company is now hiring hard-working, motivated, and responsible applicants for our Iowa City and Des Moines branches.

Job Duties
- Moving Stuff
- Carrying heavy and awkwardly shaped furniture
- Carrying or dollying a seemingly endless array of boxes and/or plastic totes
- Assembling/disassembling furniture
- Pondering the essence of materialism in American Society
- Engaging in polite and witty conversation while carrying a sleeper sofa up 3 flights of stairs
- Orienting furniture to adhere to the fundamentals of Feng Shui
- But, mostly just carrying things onto or off of a moving truck

Job Requirements
- Must be 18 years or older for movers due to insurance restrictions
- Professional attitude and demeanor
- Excellent customer service skills
- Must be able to lift and carry 100lbs repeatedly in various conditions
