We Move People. We Try to Leave Things Better.

Every move begins with a truck, and every truck burns a lot of fuel.

That’s reality.

So we don’t pretend to be impact-free. We work to reduce what we can as best we can. And we take responsibility for what we can’t.

Built with Intention

Our warehouse runs on sunlight and Iowa ground.

  • 40KW rooftop solar array
  • Geothermal heating and cooling
  • Carbon-neutral building operations

We invested in sustainability where we have control — because responsibility starts at home.

Cleaner Miles

During warmer months, our local moves run on 100% biodiesel.

Biodiesel significantly reduces lifecycle carbon emissions compared to conventional diesel and allows us to lower the impact of the miles we drive every day.

Daily Discipline

Sustainability isn’t just a grand gesture. It’s many small things that add up with time and repetition.

  • Locally sourced supplies
  • Cardboard boxes reused again and again
  • Plastic reusable packing crates
  • High recycled-content materials
  • Rubber bands instead of tape
  • Cardboard fully recycled

Small choices. Thousands of times a year.

Offsetting What Remains

Even careful operations leave a footprint.

We partner with Trees, Water & People to support clean cookstove installations in Honduras.

Each stove:

  • Cuts firewood use by 50–70%
  • Reduces at least 1.5 tons of CO₂ per year
  • Removes smoke from kitchens
  • Protects forests

TWP Clean Cookstoves

In 2025:

  • 35 stoves installed
  • 127 metric tons of CO₂e offset
  • 620 trees preserved

We track the impact
We believe transparency matters.

Community

Sustainability isn’t only about carbon. It’s about people, too, our teammates and our neighbors.

We support local nonprofits

We help families begin again in new homes.
We help crew members build stronger futures.

That’s the kind of impact we believe in.
