Adamantine Spine Moving was hired by our piano dealer to deliver a piano we bought. Communication from them was EXCELLENT, they were considerate of how the weather could affect what is basically a huge piece of unfinished wood attached to various metals and other pieces of wood, it was clear that moving pianos was an average day at work for them so everything was very fast and straightforward (BUT they didn't have the carelessness that can come with being too comfortable about doing something often), and just overall I was really impressed with everyone's professionalism. Also they managed to drive an hour and a half to my home plus make another stop on the way and still arrive within two minutes of their estimate, which was definitely some sort of magic.

Mike and the Spine Crew did a fabulous job of moving my antique upright Victorian piano. It was probably one of the toughest piano moves they’ve ever done with two very steep drives and wooded lawns to traverse and they got the job done. This tiger oak beast weighed a ton and they conquered it, handling the move with a positive attitude, sense of humor and utmost professionalism. And yes, it happened during the first winter snow to boot! I highly recommend them and I cannot thank them enough for a challenging job well done!

Prompt and deliberate execution, granted I've never worked with any other moving company, but I'd say the work they do is top notch. Beating out the competition by using their own wheels and muscle means you don't have to lift a finger. They'll pack and unpack, do all the heavy lifting, and cart your stuff where and when you need it, even setting up the appointment is a relatively easy process. Also in depth, the questionnaire for the individual move goes into pretty intricate detail, so nothing really comes as a surprise to see it go as smoothly as it did. Would recommend.

We used Adamantine moving company out of Iowa City & Des Moines for an out of state move from Cedar Rapids IA to Omaha NE. The moving crews on both ends were first rate. The helped with all our requests. The communication, timeliness, and courtesy were perfect. All household goods arrived in same condition they left. Navigating the interstate transfer of a grand piano - with storage needs between point A and point B as well as working with a 3rd party vendor - may have been extremely complicated. Jeff at Adamantine made it simple. At every point he helped troubleshoot and offered his expertise as needed. Above and beyond and then some! The delivery team was courteous and professional, too. They moved out (loaded in Iowa City, IA) & moved in (unloaded in Rochester, MN) with a smile, were always very helpful, conscientious, hardworking and tidy. Receiving an email after asking how they did from the owner - Eric Jones - together with his phone # and offer for each completed survey they'll make a $10 donation to a local nonprofit working to make their community a better place, shows that this is a very upstanding & genuine local company that first & foremost cares to make the whole moving process as smooth as possible knowing that it is always so stressful. We are so very happy and glad that we went with them for our son's move instead of the many brokers giving quotes/low ball offers, from out-of-town/state companies, to get the business and not truly being honest about hidden charges. They were up front with the fact that they may be a little more expensive than the competition but also that they would do their best to match other quotes. I did not even explore other quotes because I knew the value behind their pricing. Our moving experience with Adamantine Spine was seamless. We started out with a video walk-through for the quote and they kept in touch with us weekly until the move to answer our questions and give us hints for packing. They did a full pack of our kitchen and on that day also prepared most of the furniture for loading. On loading day, they had 6 or 7 people and made quick work of it. Unloading took only 3 hours! They also helped us out with transporting some heavy furniture from the basement to the garage for disposal! Unfortunately, we had a several breakages, but they promptly made arrangements to either repair or replace. The price of the move seemed high, although I didn't get any quotes anywhere else, but it was worth the efficiency, speed and friendliness of all personnel.

The unloading was also super smooth and the team (Dillon, Jim, and Issac) were great! They unloaded everything quickly and took extra effort to make sure the furniture and boxes were all placed precisely where I wanted them, including a final walk through to make any minor adjustments that I desired.
