Yaw (like stepping on a nail: "Y’OWW!") -- not Yah, not Han, not Way -- is originally from Accra, Ghana. "Yaw" means “born on a Thursday" in the Akan language. He moved to Ankeny when he was five years old, but he can’t remember which day of the week that was. Yaw is one of the founding fathers of Spine DSM and is working his way into Spine management as a true tour de force. New guys come to know him as “The Drill Sergeant,” and quickly learn that no tardiness or poorly taped box will stand with Yaw around. He’s all in for "the brand" and our Des Moines location owes its high-quality standards almost 100% to his dedication and perseverance.
